At Ontic, Lukas leads a team of technologists and security experts to develop best-in-class software used by the world’s leading brands and educational institutions to help clients keep its most prized assets safe—its people.
Before starting Ontic, Lukas was an early employee at Sprinklr, ultimately serving as Global Vice President of Client Success where he built out and led the entire customer-facing team to ensure strategic alignment of business objectives to Sprinklr technology adoption and use. A strategist by trade, he spent his years prior to Sprinklr helping Fortune 500 businesses embrace and leverage emerging technology.
Lukas holds a BA degree in Marketing from Olivet Nazarene University and an MBA in Integrated Marketing from DePaul University. A Chicagoan at heart, he lives in Austin, TX with his wife and can often be found cheering on his four boys at various sporting events.
Prior to Ontic, Thomas founded two boutique service firms that focused on global threat assessment & security consulting, as well as intelligence collection for both litigation support matters and protective security applications.
Thomas earned a B.A. degree in Criminal Justice and Political Science from Illinois State University. He is originally from Chicago, but like everyone else, now lives in Austin, TX with his wife and two children.
Gagan is a technology leader who is passionate about building products that are simple, add great value and drive customer success. Gagan heads global product & engineering functions at Ontic.
Prior to Ontic, Gagan served as Engineering leader in Sprinklr, where he architected & headed core tech platform for social media unicorn. He also brings in experience of having worked in various engineering and leadership positions in companies like Pramati Technologies, SAP Labs, NetApp, Yahoo. Gagan holds a B.Tech. degree in Information & Communication Technology from Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology.
Mat Thompson is the Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Ontic Technologies. A technology veteran, Mat has over 20 years of Enterprise Sales experience.
Prior to Ontic, he served in leadership positions at Sprinklr and Bazaarvoice, driving both companies to ‘Unicorn’ status with valuations of over one billion dollars. Bazaarvoice completed a successful IPO in 2012.
Thompson holds a BBA in Marketing from the University of Texas. On the weekends you will find Mat spending time with his wife and two daughters, fishing, or playing guitar.
Manish Mehta serves as Chief Product Officer at Ontic where he brings more than 25 years of market leadership in software development. With extensive experience in formulating innovative product strategies, launching new products in early-stage ventures, and growing products into category leaders, he leads our team to success through strategic communication and collaboration between our customers, partners and product development teams.
Prior to Ontic, Manish served as Chief Product Officer at both Spredfast and Mass Relevance where he was responsible for product management, engineering development, and user experience design globally. Previous to Spredfast, he was the founder and CEO of Marketvine, a social commerce SaaS leader.
The core of Manish’s experience comes from Dell, where he held various executive leadership roles over 18 years as he spearheaded digital transformations in eCommerce (as co-founder and GM of Dell.com) and social media globally.
A graduate of Rutgers University, with a degree in Electrical Engineering, Manish also spent time early in his career working in the nuclear industry on the east coast before moving to Silicon Valley in California. A New Jersey native, Manish lives in Austin, TX with his wife of over 25 years and two children.
Mike has been an active technology investor as well as an executive at a number of leading technology companies for the past 20 years. As an investor, prior to joining Silverton, Mike was a partner at Austin Ventures where he focused on technology investing in enterprise and consumer applications, and prior was a partner at Europeatweb, a European/US venture capital firm. Notable investments included MapMyFitness (acquired by Under Armour), Mass Relevance (acquired by Spredfast), Ancestry.com, Liqudity Services Inc. (Nasdaq: LQDT) and Spredfast (acquired by Lithium).
As an executive, Mike was SVP of Corporate Development at Omniture (acquired by Adobe) and SVP and GM at Ancestry.com. In his early career, Mike was a technology investment banker with Robertson Stephens in San Francisco. Mike received an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS in finance from Syracuse University.
Swaminathan holds a master’s degree in computer engineering from Wright State University and an M.B.A. from New York University’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business.
He began his career in law enforcement as a police officer in Montgomery County, Maryland and later worked for the U.S. Secret Service. From 1985 to 1999, he was a special agent with the U.S. Diplomatic Security Service (DSS). He eventually became the deputy chief of the DSS counterterrorism division.
While with the DSS, Burton was appointed by Washington to assist in the investigation of the assassination of Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin. He also investigated the killing of Rabbi Meir Kahane, the al Qaeda New York City bombing plots before the September 11 attacks, and the Libyan-backed terrorist attacks against diplomats in Sana’a and Khartoum. He was involved in the arrest of Ramzi Yousef, the mastermind of the first World Trade Center bombing in 1993.
In addition to his work with Stratfor, Burton consults with Fortune 500 companies on global security and is a New York Times best-selling author. His novels include a personal memoir GHOST: Confessions of a Counterterrorism Agent, Chasing Shadows: A Special Agent’s Lifelong Hunt to Bring a Cold War Assassin to Justice, Under Fire: The Untold Story of the Attack in Benghazi and his fourth book, Beirut Rules: The Murder of a CIA Station Chief and Hezbollah’s War Against America.
Marianos began his career with ATF in September 1987 in the Chicago Field Division where he worked on complex-gang investigations and was recognized as a national expert using the continuing criminal enterprise and RICO statues to dismantle some of the most dangerous street gangs in America.
In 1997 Marianos was promoted to resident agent in charge of the Colorado Springs Field Office, Phoenix Field Division where he oversaw large-scale investigations into violent crime, to include outlaw motorcycle gangs, ethnic street gangs, and firearms trafficking organizations.
In 1998 he was named Incident Commander and led ATF in the shooting investigation at Columbine High School in Littleton, Colorado. In 2001 he was selected to supervise the Joint Terrorist Task Force at the Winter Olympic Games in Salt Lake City, Utah.
In 2005, Marianos was promoted to ATF national headquarters, and served in a variety of assignments to include Commander of the Presidential Emergency Service Function 13 (ESF-13) to deputy chief of the Special Operations Division, overseeing five special response teams and their missions throughout the country.
Amy Sullivan is the VP of Client and Employee experience at Ontic.
Amy is focused on driving value based outcomes for clients and positive employee experiences. Overseeing both the Client and Employee journeys allows her to collaborate and optimize cross-functionally across the Ontic teams to help clients get the most out of the platform.
Most recently, Amy held multiple leadership roles at Sprinklr. While at Sprinklr, she implemented processes that were foundational to the company’s growth and lead high-performing Success teams to achieve industry-best retention across a client base of Fortune 1000 companies. As the AVP of Social Channel Partnerships, Amy lead Sprinklr’s product alignment and relationships with key partners like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest and others. Prior to Sprinklr, she started her career in Account Management at PR Newswire and was later part of the Success Management team at Buddy Media and Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
A graduate of Shippensburg University, with a degree in Communications and Political Science, Amy also spent time studying in London and interning in Washington DC.
Originally from Pennsylvania, Amy has lived in New York City for over a decade so she officially considers herself a New Yorker. Her greatest challenge is raising her son Max as a loyal Philadelphia sports fan in Manhattan.
